The honor truly is mine.

I was here four weeks ago and as I visited with Pastor Michael.

And let me just stop before I say this,

Pastor Michael reminds me of one of those early church fathers.

We have conversations almost every week.

And I remember we were playing some phone tag this week,

and finally I was able to speak to him and the fault was with me.

It's the beginning of our semester and I was running around looking at budgets and

enrollment numbers and hiring new faculty and doing all kinds of really fun things.

And so finally I had an opportunity to speak to him.

And when I phoned him, this was at Friday,

and it was around about 4.30,

and typically on Fridays, I worked till about 5.

Typically in the week, I'll go a little bit later than that.

And we got to speak about Jesus.

And before I could even comprehend what was going on,

the holy presence of the Lord was in that phone call.

And we spent more than an hour, never speaking about what we were supposed to speak about.

Just about an hour and 20 minutes speaking about the beauty and the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ.

And roundabout, this is now 5.45, my wife is phoning me saying, where are you?

And so finally I had an opportunity just to type Pastor Michael, and she sent a little heart
