If you'd go to 1 Corinthians 3, please.

1 Corinthians 3, we've been on a series for a number of weeks now entitled the god of increase the god of increase

if you haven't been with us encourage you to go online and look at the earlier messages

because it all each one builds on the last.

I think we're up to number 12 today or so.

And that's one good thing about having a local church.

You come back next week, you know, and keep going.

We're thankful for that.

In 1 Corinthians 3 and 6, Paul said by the Spirit, he said, I have planted, I have planted, Apollos watered, but God gave the increase.

He's talking about the word.

He preached the gospel to them the first time they ever heard it.

That was planting.

Apollos came along later and taught them on some of the same truths.

It was watering what they had already heard.

But the increase didn't come from Paul or Apollus.

It came from God.

Say that loud God. God gave the increase.

Verse 7, he repeats the idea.

He said, then neither is he that planeth anything, neither he that waterth, but God

that gives, present tense, the increase.

God is the God of increase.
