a Ron what do you think of the penultimate episode of the season is that a nod to Star Wars I think so it's got to be I I felt like this is an episode is kind of loaded to the brim with the old sci-fi references which will I'll point that as we go I'd love this episode

this episode is cool this episode is great I have one lingering question that I am asked on subsequent while I think I've watched this four times because I did another thing where I watch this episode the second recorded last one and I had a almost two week weight which is the last time this happens because tonight I want to watch finale and it'll be then I then I'll have the same God knows how long wait the next one with everybody else but I said as soon as I watch this like this is a hell of an episode of foundation and it's all

delicious and it's cool and it's got a lot of big ideas the only thing I acquired is like a little question on second or you know subsequent watches is so how the hell is corporal Harry corporeal Harry alive still

good question I thought I thought that the gale said she felt him die felt him drown so I have a big quite a question about that but I think the more I thought about I think the answer might line this episode I mean we got tons of dimmer cell stuff got tons of

clionic dynasty stuff a space battle that was fucking cool what what more can I ask where I bet you jump yeah um sometimes shows aim to subvert your expectations and they fall in their face because they subvert them too hard or they're just trying too hard and this is not one of those shows this episode of foundation absolutely

subverted every expectation I had but both as somebody who has read that first book I think there's a lot of deviations as I recall it's been a while but as I recall a lot of deviations but they all felt

like they were right for this show I'm not one of those like adaptation purists who needs to have everything kind of line up with the source material I appreciate it when the

expanse went off the the rails of the books quite a bit I think it improved a lot of things I think here everything they're doing that is not you know 100% canon as far as the books go is really

impressing me uh if they were doing it poorly I'd have some choice words to say but they're not they're the kind of nailing it

episode sort of blew me away with how hard it subverted everything I thought I wanted

and not just subverted like I was convinced down till the shockwave hit poly that hairy is going to pull

out some kind of planetary defense or and it was all going to let the empire is going to be impotent

like there was like so many things like oh this is going to be the thing that saves them uh you're

going to walk into the null field it's going to be your ass empire all hairy showing up as a hologram you're

going inside the fall he's going to pull you apart Adam by Adam's son like what I was like the planet

shatters and it's definitive right there's no chance oh there's no I mean look you can do anything

as long as you do it well so like there's a part of me that says a lot of the foundation does things

with uh smoke and mirrors and illusion on a grand scale is it possible that they have moved their

entire planet and there's a hollow planet or a recreate I mean again I'm I must say in the yes

yes it should be definitive but the technology involved I'm just saying that like I can't believe how

this my jaw was dropped at the apparent destruction of everything that we had worked up to this point
