Today is Foundation Sunday. The question we should be asking is what do we want for the future of humanity. How can we be a significant part of shifting the human story in the direction of what is good and beautiful and true? It's easy to spend your entire life just paying the bills rather than building something. There are very few churches that actually built a foundation to reach people who would never walk into church. This is one of the reasons tithing is such a brilliant idea from God. I am convinced there are places in the world that desperately need us to pay the price to prove that Jesus is relevant there. Mosaic has carefully crafted what it feels like to be a community of faith. That's the key that will unlock so many cities, he says. He asks you to join him in paying an absurd personal price to do what humanity desperately needs.Mosaic needs about like a 7 million dollar budget every year in LA just to do what we do.
