Alright, so you may all recall that for the last year or so,

Griselda Martinez and her family have been fighting for justice for her brother, specialist Enrique Román Martinez, a soldier stationed at a Fort Bragg North Carolina.

I have already covered Enrique's disappearance and his murder and how the only part of Enrique that was recovered was his severed head.

This case is still unsolved and today I wanted to remember Enrique and speak to his sister and family attorney

so that they could fill us in on the investigation and what they've been experiencing in the last year.

During that episode, I cover Enrique's case and you get to hear the almost seven minute long uninterrupted 911 call that was made by one of the campers reporting Enrique.

So with that, let's dig in.

Last year, specialist Enrique Román Martinez, he went camping during the long Memorial Day weekend 2020 and he vanished on the first night he was there.

He was there with seven other Fort Bragg soldiers, six men and one woman.

One of these people reported Enrique missing close to 19 hours after he had last been seen at midnight.

Something new that I learned this week is that all eight soldiers, which includes Enrique, they were in the wrong as they were close to four hours away from Fort Bragg and due to COVID restrictions at the time, they were not allowed to be that far away from post without permission.

I first reported on this case back in June of 2020 when I got my hands on the 911 call made by one of Enrique's camping buddies.

The call seems innocent enough, right? Hey, we lost our friends and can't find him except when you learned that Enrique had been missing for close to 19 hours or so.
