Let's begin in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit.

Amen.

Let's call to mind all those we've promised to pray for,

especially the healing of Olivia and Margot through the intercession of Blessed Pauline Jericho.

Maybe you've heard the saying, always follow your conscience and it's true. But remember, following your conscience means doing

what to the best of your knowledge is the right thing to do. It doesn't mean doing what you

feel is right.

Rather, it means doing what you know is right,

right according to the way God sees things.

But that means that your conscience is dependent on your knowledge.

And that means if there's a defect in your knowledge,

there's going to be a defect in your conscience.

So your conscience isn't any more infallible than you are. It can

make mistakes about right and wrong, about a good decision and a bad decision, and a

mistaken conscience, which is just a bad moral judgment, will cause harm.

Our Father who art in heaven, hallow would be your name,

Thy kingdom come, thy will be down on earth as it is in heaven.

Give us to stay our daily bread and forgive us our trespasses

as we forgive those who trespass against us and lead us not into

temptation but deliver us for me.
