I love what Holy Father now St. John Paul said.

He says, at the heart of Catechesis is intimacy with Jesus.

The catechesis is not merely an intellectual exercise or transformation of information.

That's a part of it.

I'm one of your hosts, and unfortunately this week not joined by my illustrious co-host, Michael Gomer Gormley.

Gomer had something to do with the parish, but I think we all know he's probably at home brushing his beard.

Many of you might have heard recently in the news.

There's all the buzz, at least on my social media page, every other post is about the news of Franciscan University of Steubenville during this corona pandemic,

giving free tuition to the incoming freshman next year. Well, part of that, I mean, I don't,

I don't think all the decision was made, but part of that

decision was made by their new president, Father Dave Pavanka. Father Dave has been a longtime friend

of mine. I've known him since I was probably like two years old, probably when I started visiting

Franciscan University before he was a priest and before he was a friar.

And I've known him through working with him in ministry and through just a long friendship.

And so as soon as he became president of the university, I wanted to have him on the show.

So Father Dave, welcome to every knee shall bow.
