When I say we, I'm talking with Eric Bishop.

He was right in the middle of the store.

We cut off on Tuesday's edition of the Steve Officer show, Cliff Hanger. You're there talking about how to make W.C.W. being able to compete with W.W. at the time and how you were able to get that job.

Yeah, I mean, it was a couple different things.

It wasn't one vision, but it was, number one, you know, we were perceived to be very

southern and very regional, we had to overcome that

stigma and that meant we had to change the number of things graphics just the

visual look of the show it had to be a little slicker prior to that bill watch was going to go the other way

pull back the ring mats go old school make it look like a little TV studio

and we did and all of a sudden we start falling on concrete and you talk about

bullshit I mean it was

I'll say that because that's what it was man when you go crashing outside and

ring you need a little bit of patent to keep your ass safe so none of the

boys like that and the product suffered as a result of it. It looked like

hell it did so my approach was let's go let's raise up the lights let's make the

crowd a bigger part of the show let's make the announcers sound a little less southern. Let's get away from the

southern style creative less gimmicks less poky-poky stuff. stuff no mummies no hunchbacks when you say southern style you think that that was southern style it was more so than what I was used to or maybe regional well

to your point, Regional.
