It's Kendall and Casey on 93 WIBC and a former Virginia police officer believed to have murdered

a teenager's family in Riverside, California. After catfishing her online was killed in a shootout

while trying to flee authorities. This is this is unbelievable and every parent needs to like

wake up to this because. So this guy lived in Virginia. He just became a police officer 10 days.

Right. He met a 15 year old girl online who lived in California. He he did what was

was called catfishing with this girl, which was that he either he pretended to be likely

someone other than what he really was. It's deceived her online. It's what is like the Anthony

shots account in the Delphi related to the Delphi case. Similar thing different, you know, photos

that aren't you pretending, you know, may it pretended to be a, you know, a 17 year old boy or

a 20 year old boy or whatever. And this guy allegedly now he's dead. So well, we don't know

because he was killed in the shootout with police. He developed an online relationship with her.

Yes. And then went to California and allegedly killed this girl's, I believe it's her mother

and her grandparents, which I think who she resided with. It appears kidnapped this girl.

When he was kidnapping the girl after killing the parents, the parent and grandparents allegedly,

people saw them leaving the house. The girl appeared to be in a state of distress.

She was struggling. Yes. And so they called the police. They get in a high speed chase with this guy

and then ultimately a shootout in which he he lost his life. But this stuff happens all the time.

And if you are a parent who has a child of any age, really, do not let them on the internet.

Alone, unsupervised at any time. Don't, don't cell phones, you know, cell phones are fine.

If you need emergency text or call somebody, do not, do not let your kids on the internet unless

you're looking over their shoulder. I mean, this is so dangerous. And I'm surprised this actually

doesn't happen more often. But three people are dead because this kid was clearly allowed to
