Summary

U.S. Customs and Border Protection saw the number of migrants encountered on the southern U.S. border increase even more last month. Our host Alex Hogan, on location from the U.S.-Mexico border, speaks with Ronald Vitiello, former Director of U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement from 2018-2019 under the Trump administration. They discuss the tactics the Biden administration is using to deal with the historic levels of illegal border crossings, Ron pushes back on the idea that President Biden inherited a broken system, and he explains what he believes can be done along bipartisan lines to address the continued surge of migrants crossing the border. The CDC announced that Americans who are fully vaccinated against the coronavirus do not need to wear a mask outside or inside in most situations. But, even with the go ahead from federal health officials, some states are still taking a cautious approach towards masks. Throughout the pandemic, government power has been the center of legal challenges this past year. Now as we head into a “new normal”, new legal questions could come up for businesses, such as whether someone must show they have been vaccinated, what schools and employers require. Jonathan Turley, professor of public interest law at George Washington University and a FOX News contributor weighs in on some of the past legal challenges from the pandemic and some of the future legal challenges we can expect. Plus, commentary by Jimmy Failla, host of “Fox Across America.” Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices
