This was Tiger's first ever round of golf in Scotland.

And it wasn't even that much of a wind that day. It was maybe 15 miles per hour. And his dad said to him, how did you play son? And he said, oh, dad, I struggled. He said, this wind, he said, you know, I was coming up short with so many shots. You know, I was having like, you know, 165 to the middle. And I'm hitting a nine iron. and I'm coming up 30 yards short.

I ballooned it in the... I was having like, you know, 1-6-5 to the middle, and I'm hitting a nine-iron,

And his dad said, well, if you're going to win all these opens and these majors,

And ironically, that week, me, him and Crenshaw all missed the cut of that Scottish Open that week.

that he got a wake-up call when he went and played Karnoustie and Scotland for his first time,
