1:22.6	Until today is with great pleasure that I present former California Senator Barbara Boxer.
1:30.0	She served for 24 years in the U.S. Senate, where she chaired the Environment and Public Works
1:35.2	Committee and helped pass historic legislation, including the Violence Against Women Act.
1:41.0	She also served 10 years in the U.S. House of Representatives and was a supervisor
1:45.1	for Marin County. And we are honored to have been able to call her a fellow at the USC Center for
1:51.5	the Political Future. Welcome back, Center Boxer. I'm also honored to introduce a fellow
1:57.5	Iranian-American and one of the most recognized women's rights activists in the world,
2:02.9	Masi Alinajad. Ms. Alinajad is a journalist and producer for Voice of America.
