Palmas del Mar you see all these signs everywhere about riptides and my uncle warned me, he said, look, every year there are tourists that end up dying, drowning in certain spots, not necessarily that particular spot, but he kind of gave me just the general, hey, you got to watch it in certain spots.

We didn't even actually go to the beach in those three days resort. We just hung at the pool.

Right. But I saw those signs and then I saw this story. So this guy goes on a fishing

trip on his kayak. And...

So he takes his kayak out off the coast of Greaten Beach, Florida at about 8.30 in the morning on

Thursday to do some fishing. And then it was simply strong winds and then he found himself seven to eight miles off the coast.

That's a long way in the kayak man. No frigate joke. Like it don't they tell you if you're standing on the shore and you look out to the horizon that's about eight miles

But where it drops off right? It's like Cuba. Is it that far? I think it's like roughly eight miles and trust me that looks like forever.
