So he pled guilty and now he's gonna spend some time in jail.

We're talking about Jamie Noel, the former sheriff of Clark County.

Yeah, and look, this guy is going away for a while.

He got the sentence I think that people thought he was going to get.

The judge, and rightfully so in the case, waited until he heard

victim impact statements to decide whether to accept the plea deal or not. And what is it?

It's 12 years? 12 years behind behind bars this after he pled guilty to 25

felonies yeah and you know we we had our guy Sean Bostick on who was the accountability integrity Facebook page with Sean Bostick down there in Jeffersonville who's covered Jamie Noel for years and years and years dating back even before he was the Clark County Sheriff.

And we talked to him about why would Noel accept this plea?

Because he doesn't really get all that many of the charges dropped.

His wife and daughter still appear to be left in the lurch

because they've got stuff pending against them.

And so other than him going away and I guess now being quiet while potentially powerful people are

left in the clear what benefit was there of this guy to take this plea deal?

That's the question that I have.

What did he get out of it because no guaranteed reduced sentencing?
