We've had a lot of coverage on Afghanistan today because it is such a massive foreign policy

failure but today we're going to take a pause and look back at how the failures in Afghanistan

actually fit into a larger paradigm of America taking its eye off the ball potentially being

vulnerable to new waves of terror attacks.

Everyone I'm talking to inside the law enforcement system FBI CIA counterintelligence

OD and I are very worried that we are in a very negative posture when it comes to vulnerabilities

to new terrorist attacks and there are a lot of reasons for them right?

In order to be more than a word in order the release of all those horrific high skilled high

value terrorist prisoners that were freed from Bogom airbase more conflict between our

agencies and less cooperation Americans just being more numb to terrorism and less attentive

to it all of the elements add up to a screaming red screen for some of our best intelligence

analysts that we are vulnerable we've heard from senators who said that General Milley the

chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff told them we could go Sunday that Afghanistan will

be a breeding ground for terrorists tax a capable of reaching Americans within two years

less than two years.

We fought the war to prevent that from happening.

There are so many dots on the paradigm right now that should leave us worried and too much

the country is focused on other issues.

So today I want to step back and introduce you to someone who after 9-11 played an

instrumental role at the Homeland Security Department at Interpoled at the Treasury Department
