Hello again friends. This is I think the last bonus feature that I'm going to share via

podcast from the documentary Holdman. This is an interview with Lance Dirk's and it's a really good interview in my opinion because Lance really brings things back to Christ so much.

I was impressed when I met him with his

love for Jesus and he really talks about his time in the Holderman Church and his experience being a minister there. He is a unique experience in that way

and that he was a leader and so he's not talking about someone who was abused by some of these false teachings he actually was was

someone who was actually facilitating the abusing so to speak

and he came out of it and sees the error in it and really does a good job explaining not just

I think the issues that would pertain to the Holdomans but issues that are broad enough to apply to all in my opinion cults and so I think

this will be beneficial for everyone to listen to here he is though here's Lance

Dirks. I was 13 years old when I was baptized into

the church and that was upon me realizing that something wasn't right and I was a little

different in that I didn't have no big burden. For me I was honest as I knew how to be and I just

said that I knew I would be lost if I wouldn't surrender to Christ.

But when I was saying to Christ, really what everybody knew I was meaning is to the church.

And the baptism was always everybody knew I was meaning is to the church.

And the baptism was always baptized into the church.

You know, it's not being baptized into Christ.

It's being baptized into the church and so your submission is to the church.

My dad would have been one that would have been a strong supporter of believing in Jesus in that system, yet he believed

a hundred percent in the system.

So how can you believe 100% in a system that expels people for the new things even while they say they believe in Christ.

And, you know, so it's just, it's confusing at the best.
