As I have mentioned, each and every Friday, I like to have a former cult on.

We called it former Colt Friday, and then they told me that they didn't know if we could say

Colt, because if we get it sponsored, we can't say that, and then we'll call it Throwback Thursdays,

but it's Friday, so who knows?

But I am actually really excited about our next guest, because I have told the story several

times. In the years that I have covered sports, every once in a while an athlete does something,

and you say to yourself, you know what, I got to hand it for massive amounts of respect.

And I've told the story before about one of the more difficult situations that I've seen for an athlete to have to endure

was when Mike Vanderjad missed a critical kick against the Pittsburgh Steelers

and I walked in the locker room and the guy

standing at his locker with his uniform

on and he's like, all right guys, let's go,

whatever he need. And he sat there

and answered every single question. And I've always had

huge respect for that. Not sure that I ever had

the chance to tell him I had mad respect for him for that.
