Today, we are digging in to a very chilling and somewhat disturbing case of Matthew Hurtkin.

If you didn't know the name, you probably will soon.

He is a former collegiate soccer star, and he's now accused of murdering his brother.

He is 31 years old.

The brother, Joseph Hurtkin, is 26 at the time of his death, which was over the weekend,

and it was done in a gruesome fashion.

He took, according to police, a golf club, excuse me, I was going to say baseball,

but a golf club and also a knife.

And in the process, also viciously murdered the family cat.

Now, the younger brother was living in Princeton, New Jersey. So this happened right outside Princeton University. The brother's raised in an affluent family.

The father, a multi-million dollar, seemingly very successful founder of a tech company and we'll get into all

the details but as I said we've got the best guess in all of true crime and starting off here with

detective Phil Ramos he is a 30 plus year veteran of the Las Vegas metropolitan police department

a three-time police officer of the year.

The guy still rides his Harley.

The mob put a hit out on him.

He's carried millions of dollars through casinos to try to infiltrate the Cuban mob, and that story never gets old.
