Summary

Regina Stone was born and raised in Knoxville, Tennessee. She was raised by a single mom who had five kids. She enjoyed spending her childhood playing outside with her friends. She had a friend growing up whose father was a role model for her. He was a drug dealer and she wanted to be like him. When she was sixteen, her mom sent her to live with guardians. She moved out at seventeen and lived on her own. She had her own drug dealing business that was vibrant at the time. She lived in Knoxville until she was 21. She was very addicted by the age of 21. She ended up flying out to California for drug treatment. The adventures started from there and that was ten years ago. This was quite a series of challenges that she had to overcome. She had to learn how to adapt and overcome. She eventually did discover how to do just that. She learned a great deal about how she needed to take care of herself. As she learned more over time she discovered that she could help others change their lives for the long term. What a story! Regina founded a training facility known as Stone Impact and she was off and running! More about Stone Impact: “Stone Impact is a fitness studio that started in a garage during the COVID-19 pandemic. We wanted to expand our outreach to the community and build something even greater so we decided to launch a fitness studio to house more of our community! We focus on diversity so that each person can find a perfect fit for them! We are a class based gym that offers 1 on 1 personal training as well! We are excited to impact more lives along the way and helping them to reach their personal fitness goals!”

1:11.0	Yeah, thanks for having me. I really appreciate it. So where were you born? So I was
1:15.9	born in Knoxville, Tennessee. Yeah. And so my mom was also a single mother of six kids. My dad wasn't really around.
1:25.0	My dad wasn't really around.
1:27.0	He was usually in and out of prison.
1:29.4	He was a drunk, so he wasn't around too much.
1:32.2	One of my brothers passed away. so he wasn't around too much.
1:36.0	One of my brothers passed away when he was four, so there was five of us left who grew up together.
1:40.0	So it's okay, I mean it's a part of life, right? It's made me who I am, so I appreciate it today.
1:47.0	Go ahead. Oh, it's okay. So you grew up in Knoxville?
1:52.0	Mm-hmm. I did. Did you graduate high school there?
1:55.0	I never graduated. By the time I turned 16. My mom had signed me a way over to what you would call, I guess, foster parents or guardians.
