My name is Mike Gomer Gormley and I am joined today by Dave the Missile Van Vickle.

Ooh, that was a hat tip to our old producer's husband, huh was indeed it was i'm in a surly mood man i've been up since three a m why are you why uh you know

you know when a man gets to be of a certain age he discovers that he cannot go through the

night without having to get up in P 5,000 times.

So I went to the bathroom and then I laid back down to bed and all I did was think about my dad.

It was pretty rough.

It's been pretty rough last few days.

So he went from the emergency room back to this rehabilitation place.

And the sad part is, man, I'm not going to get choked up. My mom had to have a conversation with him basically saying, you can't come home. Because he keeps saying that. Like, when I get out of here and I come home. Yeah. And she's like, you can't come home. You can't walk anymore. Like, I can't pick you up and take you to the bathroom. I can't turn you over. Right. And my dad was just like, the way my mom described it, he was like hurt.

Yeah. Sure. He's like, what do you mean? And she's like bawling. By the end of the conversation,

she said that he was like, whatever you need to do, whatever we need to do,

we'll do it, we'll get through it, it'll be fine. So like, this is like the whole next stage.

Well, so he gets transferred by an ambulance to this other facility. I go to the other facility

and beat my mom there because I'm a hell on wheels, but an evangelist at heart. And so I get there and I'm sitting down with my dad and he just looks at me and he goes, can I see a question? And I said, yeah. And he was no one's saying anything, but did the doctors give you a number? And I said, a number. And he goes of how many days I have left he's like is that what you and mom
