Some years ago, Elder and I had to meet with a married couple,

and we had to meet with this particular couple often.

There were anger issues, an inability to communicate, the silent partner. It went on

and on and on. Sometimes for us, it was very tiring because we would be in the conference room with this

couple, sometimes midnight, 1 a.m. in the morning. And no matter

what we tried to say to the couple, it just didn't seem to work. We've learned in our local church

that marriage fails because one or both parties refused to obey God. And so on one occasion, the husband calls elder,

he goes through the scenario as to what's happening. And my husband reached the place

where he said, man, just walk away. He said, you guys, you can't move forward in this relationship.

It's going to kill you or it's going to kill her or kill both of you.

So just walk away.

Chalk it up is a learning experience.

The guy listened to elder, but did not act upon the council.

Two weeks later, I get a call probably two, maybe three in the morning,

and it was one of the ministers of our church asking me to come right away.

The husband and wife, they're in a scuffle, they're arguing, He's angry. He has a massive heart attack.

So before I could get to the home, the paramedics are there. They're working on him.

One of the ministers says, Pastor, I can get to the hospital before you. You can get there. They're working on him now.

So when I get to the

hospital well they've already pronounced him him dead my husband said two weeks ago if he had

just walked away is it possible that that that guy guy would still be alive?

Needless to say, the woman's still alive and she's remarried and gone on with her life.
