I wanted to talk about this book. I read it's called The Courage to Be Disliked and I'm not done with it. I'm halfway through the book, but it was actually given to me by one of the teachers. So thank you. If you're listening, I really appreciated it. It was a very nice thought.

And so far, I'm really enjoying it. It's, I really like those type of kind of like self-help philosophy books. So if you're looking for a book to read, I'd suggest The Courage to Be Disliked. It was very good. A lot of the ideas in it are very interesting things that I had never really thought of before and a lot of things that I felt like I kind of realized beforehand.

Have you guys ever felt like nervous just for no reason? I can just feel nervous. I guess, but not often. It's usually a reason. Yeah, like there's been so many times where I just feel this completely off topic, but there's so many times where I just feel nervous, like nervous, scared, anxious. I don't know why it happens.

2:17.0

And I feel that way right now. So if my voice is kind of shaky. Why are you nervous? I don't know. This happened so many times. There's been a lot of times where I just feel nervous, like I just feel really scared and like anxious.

2:31.0

Yeah, it could be anywhere. Sometimes when I'm at home, like I could just be at home, like I feel really nervous and like I don't know. I mean, if anyone that's listening has ever experienced that message me because I'd like to see how you have you guys have felt.

2:48.0

Anyways, so yeah, that's just if you see my voice seem a little shaky. That's why. So anyway, something I wanted to talk about from the book is that it presents the idea that anger is manufactured essentially.

3:04.0

So anger isn't sort of something you can control. It's something that you choose to be. Do you think that's true? Yeah, yeah, definitely. Or

3:16.0

I feel like in some like circumstances, you have no choice but to be angry.

3:21.0

And that's what it argues that argues that no matter the circumstance, you always choose to be angry. And it's your choice whether you want to be angry or not.

3:29.0

Well, you choose your emotions. Is that what you're saying? You choose how you feel? How do you react to a situation?

3:36.0

So let's say let's say a weightless spills coffee on you and like you just get mad like you couldn't help it. You just kind of lashed out right?

3:46.0

And you're like, why would you do that? In that sense, wouldn't it be like wouldn't it feel to you sort of like on impulse on impulse? Yeah.

3:56.0

That's true. So I was looking at that. I know it was really interesting because it almost seems like personally, I don't like being mad.

4:07.0

I feel like it's just stressful. It's it just puts this stress on me that I just don't like. I feel like it's unhealthy. You know, it's been proven that people that get angry often.

4:24.0

I don't have high stress levels. And I was reading the book and I was talking that anger is just something you you can control and no matter the situation, it's always you choosing to be angry.

4:37.0

Like in that situation, like if a weightless spills coffee on you and you just lash out to you would be like, yeah, I just lash that I couldn't help it.
