We're offering all of our Lenton prayer and sacrifices for all the names submitted to our prayer list.

And especially this evening for a little Thomas Lauer, who's had a little setback.

But we're confident the rosary will carry him forward.

And we continue to pray for the healing of Olivia Caneli and for my grandson Cormack.

Our first mystery.

Corey Ten Boom lived with her sister Betsy and her father, Casper, in Harlem, Netherlands, where they

had a watchmaking shop above the home in which they lived.

In the late 1930s, with the rise of Nazi Germany, the first shadow fell over Europe.

Corey said nobody dreamed this tiny cloud would grow until it blocked out the sky.

Then the unthinkable happened.

Despite Holland's neutral status, the Nazis invaded Harlem in 1940, bringing the war to

the Ten Boom's doorstep.

Overnight, the city was filled with fear.

Associations were banned, food was rationed, and in short supply.

Soldiers marched through the streets.

Neighbor betrayed neighbor seeking favor from the

occupying army. Worst of all, Jewish friends were persecuted, arrested, or forced to flee.

Corey and her family stepped in to help, putting their faith into action.
