Frankle with you here and we're talking Andrew about the trailblazers, the groundbreaking cars, the cars that have created

or defined their sectors. I mean there are a few really significant, really important cars that have done exactly that. I think in this episode we might also bust a few myths.

That's what I want to do.

Because so many of these cars have all the credit, have taken the credit for being the

cars that created their categories. And actually if you go back and you look,

very few of them did, very few of them did.

Very few of them.

So few.

That's the car that was the world's first whatever.

It's like the sort of, you know, people think that, you know, the Boeing 707 was the

world's first commercial jet liner and transform the face of global aviation, but, you know, they kind of forget the valiant doomed comet, which the British did in

the 1950s, and Boeing just sat there, learned all the lessons and then did it properly.

And there are so many examples in the car

world of someone come along with this really cracking idea, but just not getting it

right or not having the resources to get at the exposure it needs and you know or whatever and then

someone comes along and thinks oh that's not a bad idea well we'll do that and we'll do it properly

and you know they someone else does all the work and they take all the credit.

And often the the very first example of a particular breed is an obscure car, isn't it?
