Century City has 50,000 people in a five-block radius of my office, all right?

We know, on average, 50% of the general population doesn't have a regular dentist. So that's 25,000 people in a five-block radius in my office that need a dentist.

These are all people working for big corporations that have dental insurance.

So they don't even have to pay anything. So what I did is I hired 10 kids from Beverly Hills High School, which is right next to my office. I paid them like, I don't know, like 50 cents an hour, whatever the going rate was that. They passed out thousands of flyers. It was before 9-11 so you could go up and down all those big towers.

I was getting like 75 new patients a month just from these flyers. And the flyers cost me like,

I don't know, 300, 350 bucks. I mean, you can't do that today. And I think that one of the other things that's really critical for continued success in a career, look at Cher.

She reinvents herself every two years and does a retirement tour.

That makes hundreds of millions of dollars, you know?

Back then, it was LA Magazine. It was the Flyers.

Today, it's social media. It's
