Can you kind of talk about your background why you chose this particular field in psychology

and then what led you to write forged in darkness?

My background is in Jungian and archetypal psychology. I got my doctorate at Pacifica Graduate Institute,

and the first iteration of this book is my doctoral dissertation,

which I've taken great labors to transform it from that type of kind of

sterile academic writing into something that I hope can really affect people.
