Well, what is unique?

How about a person who produced the first film by Ryan Coogler,

who's directed Whitney Houston in the movie, who's an Academy Award winner, and who is

starring in a series on MGM Plus and also on Hulu, the first three seasons are on Hulu of

Godfather of Harlem. That's about, as he just told me before he got started,

the intersection of crime, politics, and civil rights.

But finally, it's a Shakespearean drama about a man who basically takes on more children every season and loses them.

We're talking, of course, to the star and executive producer of Godfather in Harlem,

the Academy Award-winning actor, Forrest Whitaker, who's never done this show another time I've had here.

We were talking before we got started about how complex the characters are.

And when we first meet Vincent the Gigante, played by Vincent Adonfrio, he seems like the worst human being

in the world. And by the time we rolled around now to this fourth season,

there is kind of a brotherhood between the two of you. There's a friendship that

happens between the, I think they both wanted to excel and exceed, you know,

and bring their sense of the world to the community and stuff, while they're, like, financially controlling, you know, the maneuvers of the community.
