Bootsie is certified in Forensic Linguistic Analysis, has a Masters in Criminal Justice, and is currently completing a Ph.D. in Linguistics. She is also the author of The Retail Manager's Guide to Crime and Loss Prevention and Sticks and Stones – and contributes to various crime-related magazine publications.
