Tesla stock on the day today finished up an even 3% to $144.43.

This compared to the Nasdac up 1.71% on the heels of a strong macro

environment today. Not much out there in the way of Tesla specific news today

but we did hear some news from Volkswagen and Ford. They announced today intent to

collaborate on some projects going forward saying that quote,

Volkswagen AG and Ford Motor Company today announced the first formal agreements in a broad alliance that

positions the company to boost competitiveness and better serve customers in an era of

rapid change in the industry."

The announcement continued on to say that VW and Ford

quote intend to develop commercial vans and medium-sized pickups for global

markets beginning as early as 2022 and quote the intent there seems to be to drive cost efficiencies through economies of scale.

Volkswagen and Ford have signed a memorandum of understanding to investigate collaboration on

autonomous vehicles, mobility services, and electric vehicles and have started to
