So Halloween is like a national holiday in our house and I remember that I was getting ready for Halloween 2012 at home when I heard the news and I was ecstatic. I you know I thought Star Wars was over after Return of the

Jedi when I was a kid and then the prequels came out and I was not a huge fan of the prequels at the time and I just kind of thought all right

You know we're gonna move on that's gonna be it and so when I heard the announcement, I was over the moon that we were going to get new Star Wars films and that this was going to be a chance to go back and, you know, correct what I saw or the sins of the prequels.

I've since called myself a reformed prequilist.

I'm not so anti prequel anymore. I actually enjoy them and I was, we were watching

Attack of the clones last night actually. But yeah, I was thrilled and I actually, I went back to look to see what I had posted on

Facebook and I was I was so what I posted on Facebook was Star Wars episode 7 feature film targeted for release in 2015.

That is all.

And people started responding to me.

I hope this isn't an internet hoax and I responded to those comments and I was telling them

nope Disney bought Lucasfilm Industrial Light and Magic and Skywalker sound announced a film

for 2015 Mark Hamill call your agent. But what's interesting looking back on this now is that the way I

framed it and in my mind was I was just happy that we were getting new Star Wars films.

I didn't really frame it in terms of Disney just bought Lucas film.

I don't think that that part of it really sunk in for me in the way that we've all

talked about it and the significance of it nowadays. Back then I was just

thrilled. Here we go.
