Or I don't know if you can call it the main event, maybe the semi-main event.

We had Hangman Adam Page defending his AEW World Heavyweight Championship against MJF.

There were lots of stipulations to the match. Like, you can

win on a countout or you can win on a DQ, lots of wonkiness. First question for you, I know why

that match did not go on last, but should it have gone on last?

Oh man, I mean, there's a good argument for it.

The story's been built great.

I liked the flip-flop that where kind of hangman kind of goaded MJF into cashing in his little contract,

agreeing to the fight, and then realizing MJF's going, I screwed up up and then the whole hostage backstage situation where we're going to pour gas on somebody and potentially light them on fire to

now flip it back on hangman i thought that was good and then you know watching the match itself i thought

the build was so good as structure wise because obviously there's a lot of hatred and anger there and it could

have just they could have just floored it right out of the gate but I thought they did a good

job of kind of telling a story and building to their finish and the way you know MGF's playing

with his emotions through the match hang Hangman's having to process things.

He can't just be a bull in a china shop because it would cost him his title with all of the stipulations.

It made the match different with all the funky stipulations, which I was fine with.

It could have gone last, but then, yeah, like your cleanup for that cage match would have been insane before another match.
