defensive back Mississippi State.

So I think it's pretty safe to assume that all of you who are listening to this podcast know by now that Washington selected Emmanuel Forbes,

cornerback, Mississippi State, first round in the NFL draft last night, as Roger Goodell announced.

And I think it's pretty safe to assume that the significant majority of you also know, especially if you've been listening to this podcast over the last couple of weeks,

that Emmanuel Forbes had 14 career interceptions at Mississippi

State, six of which he returned for touchdowns, which is an NCAA record. His six pick

sixes in his college career is an NCAA record. However, I would bet that most of you don't know

that Emmanuel Forbes in high school had eight defensive touchdowns, eight defensive touchdowns in high

school for Emmanuel Forbes.

Now, look, I know high school coaches put their best athletes on offense, defense, return game,

but he had eight defensive touchdowns in high school.

This guy's had a nose for the ball for a long time now. And I know that if you've been

listening to this podcast in recent days, you know how happy I was that they picked

Emmanuel Forbes last night. Now, I did not know and did not guess that Christian Gonzalez would be on the board at 16. I'll give you my
