Oh, hi, okay, it's 2024 Ali here jumping in to say this is an absolute fan favorite

episode of Ologies. It's also a me favorite one. It was a while in the making and it's

the perfect time of year to serve it up on a dole for you.

And since we recorded this three years ago this guest Alexis Nelson aka

Black Forager and I have gotten to meet in real life, we become pals, and when she's in LA, we hang out, and she's just as much of a gem as you think in person.

She's also an ologite, and she texted me last week after our

columnatology episode about pigeons to say that it's nudged her toward

considering becoming a pigeon parent herself. Also since this episode aired Alexis has launched a TV show

called Crash Course Botany which you can find on PBS. Also at the end of this
