Oh, Scribster Study Class. Y'all, I hope you liked the field trip from last week. If you didn't,

go back and watch. It's so awesome. That scene, we were just talking before we started recording,

the scene from last week, the tar and feathering scene, has got to be just one of the most wild.

The lives that Joseph and Emma led are just crazy to think that they're even real.

It's like somebody put in a chat GPT, make the worst life possible.

And what can happen?

And we talk about it like it's really casual. Like we're just like, oh yeah, like this is what happened to Joseph and Emma. Like it is just a textbook. Right. The terrible things. And like to casually just mention, oh, and then, you know, their twins died from exposure or one of them died from exposure to the elements. And this is Emma's like sixth child that she's buried.

And you're just like everything about it.

And then around the same time, like if you had the journal, you'll see up in the top,

it talks about that trip to Indiana.

He goes on this like trip to Indiana and gets poisoned along the way.

And you're just like what?

These wild things are happening. Like poison feels like a fairy tale. Like, people shouldn't actually really get poisoned in real life. It's snow white. Yeah. And so you just read it and you're just like, oh my gosh, things are just crazy. And there's this verse in Section 84 that says this, in the whole world lieth in sin. So part of the burden that we live with, part of the

craziness of life happens because of sin, our own and the sins of other people, and groaneth

under darkness and under the bondage of sin. That word growneth like is fitting for not just

Joseph and Emma's life. And I say Joseph and Emma just to represent

everybody living back then, but also just today. There are so many people that can say,

I feel like I am groaning under the bondage of something. Like life, mortality is just hard. And we read evidences of it in the past, but we don't
