I just really want to re-state that I'm not saying that there's something inherently

wrong with KPI. I have flown a number of flights on this trip. I flew 15

and half hours from Melbourne to Dallas. I go back to the southern hemisphere flying

13 hours from Melbourne to Auckland, New Zealand.

And I want Air New Zealand to have the best stinking

KPI's.

I want the engineers to just be at the highest performance.

Because when you're flying across the Pacific,

you look at that map, and you're like,

I'm six hours from anywhere.

There's no, there's no like,

there's nowhere to land.

So I want to know that this plane has been done

to the highest levels of performance, a human being

and their computer friends can ever create.

Like that's what I want.

Like Air New Zealand and Quanta

to the safest airlines because they've got the best KPIIs.

But GKHS then said, part of the problem with the world is that it's often the virtues have

run wild out of their places. And so in extremes and when things move out of the naturally given spheres that the Lord has for them,

they can move into excess.
