Hey there, I'm so glad you stopped by for this podcast. We hope so much we can serve you today.

When something happens in our lives, it causes great celebration. It is our emotional

makeup that's somewhere in the process of it. We will lament who or what is not there

to share it. He's just in the throes of it. Look who we are in Christ. I love what what

Moses said in Deuteronomy. He said, who is like? He says, who is like the Lord and who

is like the people of the Lord? I mean, that's a cool thought. It's who is like us because

who is like him and where is? It's the same thought exactly. Who gets to be like us?

And then suddenly the lamentation of where are my people? Where are my people? How could

they have missed the wonder of this right there? Right there? The grief of who is missing.

I want to show you a time in scripture. If you'll turn with me briefly, I want to show

you a time in scripture where we see Christ do exactly this, exactly this. Just so you'll

know we're not the most bizarre people in all of humanity that we sometimes do this.

I mean, if you ever said to one of your loved ones, why the world are you thinking about

that right now? We got the greatest thing to celebrate in the whole wide world. Anybody?

And I mean, we ought not to to wallow in it, but it's a natural part of our emotional

makeup when we're in the throes of some kind of celebration to lament that we want someone

else to be a part of it. I want you to just hear this in Luke 19. Oh, this is, of course,

it starts at 28. I'm not going to start to there. But this is the triumphal entry. So

this is just huge. And it's huge in the life of the followers of Christ. And it says

that in verse 35, I think I'm going to start there. They brought it to Jesus. And this

is, this is the cult through their cloaks on the cult and put Jesus on it as he went

along. People spread their cloaks on the road. And when he came near the place where the
