You've come to me from time to time. Over the years, like you did tonight, requesting my help. No questions asked.

And I'm very grateful for everything that you've done. I give you a lot of leeway, Mr. Morgan. Mostly because I know that if I should ever need you, you'll be right there. No questions asked.

Well, this week we wanted to remember our friend. We hope everybody had a great holiday and, you know, we obviously all got the news a few days before the holiday, which sucked.

Yeah.

But it was very, yeah, yeah. We, we spent a lot of time with her. And I looked, she came, she joined the show in 2006, which is the same year I joined.

But it's funny. We didn't. We had our characters had a couple run-ins, but it wasn't until night shift. Do you remember night shift? Of course you remember night shift. But the cool thing about night shift.

Give me one second, dude. Yeah. Yeah.

You know, our show is a non-sum. Yeah, before we go into that, I just want to say like, you know, I got the news. The night prior. And it's just, it's really surreal. Right.

And we, you know, I talked about it and you never know.

When the grief can hit you. Yeah. And it was weird because that night I was like, wait, what? This is not happening. It's, it becomes unbelievable. Right. You don't believe it. You're like, no, that's not, no, that's not what's going on here. Right. Right. Right.

And it, you know, because immediately I didn't get emotional. I was more of like, well, wait, wait, what went no. And then next day.

Is really when it hit me when it was everywhere and then I was trying to figure out what to even write for her.

You know, which I can never do. I'm not a great writer, but I can never do it justice. So I always try to go from the heart. You know, and.

And then that's when it really just hit me like, wow, this is crazy, man. We just don't know what's going to happen in life. And to lose someone like Sonya, who's, who's just just an amazing human being and, I mean, just the relationship that we had often on screen.

You know, how much respect we've had for her, you and I, and we're talking about if we ever did things on the road with another person, it would be her. You know, we just, you know, we just, we enjoyed her so much. And she was such a light and such positive energy all the time.

And, and I think people can tell on screen too, you know, especially, and I'll let you go back to what you were saying, because I know you have, I know you have a lead up to this.

You know, you just never know like, I don't know, man, it's just such a life's a trip, you know, and, and things happen like this that are unexpected that constantly remind us to appreciate people that we love.

You know, and that's, and that's, and, and it sucks that we need these reminders.

To do that, but, you know, sometimes we just take life or granted and we're going and going and going and not stopping and telling someone you love them or hug them or say, hey, I appreciate the hard work you're doing or, hey, let's get together for lunch like, you know, and, and, and keep this relationship.

Person to person as opposed to so many times it's all messaging, you know, you know, and you can sure, you know, get some feelings through messaging, but, you know, it's just,
