Every day is Joey Votto Day right now. I'm very happy about that one. So, hey, it's a good day to talk

baseball. How great is it that our aged first baseman for our beloved teams are just having a moment

right now.

And, you know, even Albert Pujols with the Dodgers is at least super viable against lefties.

So it's kind of a throwback with the three best first basemen of a generation,

finding that kind of last kick there.

Votto's is, you know, way up here.

He's legitimately played like an all-star in Cabrera and Poools are finding their pockets of value. So it's been a lot of fun. It has been. And, you know, it's awesome to see that Votto reinvented himself again. And just such a student of the game. I love seeing that. He's like, well, I'm going to try to hit home runs. I've never done that. And it's like, okay. And he's done it. It's crazy.

You know, there's always that talk about like, oh, Ichiro could hit 25 if he wanted to, but he didn't want to sacrifice his average. Instead of Vado having that said about him, he just said, I'm going to try it and see what happens.

And I love it. He's one of my absolute favorite players in all of baseball history.

Pete Rose could hit home runs if he wanted to. I remember that in Rexport baseball. You know, I'm going to show my age here a little bit. But yeah, it's amazing. There's your, yeah, there's our generational shift right there i'm talking

peteros you're talking each row both players are retired regardless you know but you're you're

part of it so and that's one of the reasons uh you know i love having you on i love what you're doing

for the uh our our community but you're part of the younger generation, but you've actually been around a while now.

Yeah, I'm pretty old. I think people would be surprised to learn I'm going to be 40 in a couple
