Right now we're getting ready for the next mini season. It's going to come in January.

But in the meantime, we're going to be sharing with you some of our favorite stories, moments and makers that we've uncovered over the years.

This episode in particular is an honor of a great lady. And here is where I handed off to the amazing Samara Breaker.

Hey guys, it's Samara. I know it's been a while and I missed you.

So a couple of years ago I made a piece called mouthwash. I made it with my grandmother Helen.

And after I made it, I'd very mixed reactions from my family members because it has a lot of intimate detail of my grandmother's personal life.

A lot of my cousins and aunts and uncles have listened to it and talk about it.

And then a lot of them refused to. But, you know, regardless,

the episode has sort of entered the compendium of records of my family.

It has entered the mythology and lexicon of my family. And I'm really happy that it's there, especially now because my grandmother Helen died unexpectedly last month.
