Hey guys, it's Samara. I know it's been a while and I missed you.

So a couple of years ago I made a piece called mouthwash. I made it with my grandmother Helen.

And after I made it, I'd very mixed reactions from my family members because it has a lot of intimate detail of my grandmother's personal life.

A lot of my cousins and aunts and uncles have listened to it and talk about it.

And then a lot of them refused to. But, you know, regardless,

the episode has sort of entered the compendium of records of my family.

It has entered the mythology and lexicon of my family. And I'm really happy that it's there, especially now because my grandmother Helen died unexpectedly last month.
