And I'm your host, Jonathan Siegley, here with your weekly UNC Football Recruiting podcast with Don Call don callahan and don this is going to be

a special podcast because coming up later on in the second half of this one we actually were able to

get an interview with peyton wilson unc's four-star linebacker commit so everyone that's listening in

make sure that you tune in for that one.

But to get things started off, Don, talking about some kids that are still prospects, and you

broke a story on Friday about Devin Lawrence.

So for those who may have not seen the story on the TarPit premium message boards,

what's going on with Devin's recruitment? Well, for those who have been listening to our

podcasts on a weekly basis, they know that Devin and I were playing a little bit of phone tag.

So I actually went to his game on Friday to talk to him and figured that there was no chance of me missing him then.

And he talked to him there and he told me that that UNC was the team to beat.

And he actually had cut his list of favorite schools down to two UNC and UCLA.

He obviously has taken his UNC official visit and is tentatively scheduled to officially visit

UCLA this coming weekend.

Well, I think it'll be interesting to see what happens moving forward because he was

supposed to visit Tennessee last weekend, right?

Yeah, yeah, and that obviously was canceled, you know, because he eliminated

Tennessee and obviously eliminate Clemson. I think him eliminating Clemson was probably the most

surprising because a lot of people just assumed that he was going to follow his brother,

Dexter Lawrence, who is a former five- star, defensive tackle from the same high school,

Wake Forest High School, and is now a standout defensive tackle for Clemson.
