Charlie, there's only one way to start this.

Just how excited are you?

Very excited, pumped.

I still can't quite believe it.

I've got so used to lockdown and not having football that I

until I think it'll be one of those things that once it starts

it'll be like it was never as if it was never away

but for the moment I'm just really struggling to imagine it still feels abstract

and far away but I am really really excited

and just so curious about so many things,

what it's going to look like, you know, who's going to have benefited, who won't have done.

But yeah, excited, pumped, all of the above.

And James, you must have an especial excitement as a Spurs fan.

Yeah, of course.

And also, I mean, as I was saying to Charlie earlier on, Spurs are going to surge back to greatness now, and it's all because of me. Go on. Well, so I moved to Kingston in January 2016, and from that point onwards, Spurs, like, vastly improved, massively improved. And you remember the second half of that season? They ended up in the title race. You know, it was a season that Arsenal bottled the title, famously. Spurs were in the title race for a bit. You know, they were a superb team. The next season, as we've talked about many, many times in this podcast, the Waniamas season, 1617, the last season at White Hat Lane, unbeaten home record, fantastic season, you know, moved to Wembley, another great season, Champions League run, the following season, Champions League run, you know, moving to the new ground, get to the final of the Champions League, and then between the semi-final and the final, like an idiot, I moved to Putney. And suddenly it all went wrong, but now, this week, I'm moving back to Kingston and it's going to be fine.

Wow, I had no idea.

I mean, it makes perfect sense when you think about it.

More good news is that when I took this job, that coincided with Spurs collapsing to the point where some of the Spurs press pack call me the jinks.

But the good news is I'm going to be off at some point during the run-in on paternity leave,
