The sounds of Penn State's second practice session of preseason camp here in 2019, James Franklin right there, complimenting a play

athleticism on the field and we got to watch it all about two and a half hours on

the football field Sean fits Mark Brennan myself out there on Saturday

late afternoon into early evening, and football is indeed back in Happy Valley,

and we are indeed back on your podcast, Airwaves, Sean Fitz, Tyler Donahue, the lines 24-7 podcast and

shawl digesting things here on a Sunday morning,

a beautiful Sunday morning in the valley.

It's just nice to actually be wrapping our heads around guys playing football and pads weren't on and

all that stuff but it's here man and we are now less than four weeks away from Penn State kicking

off and four weeks from now they're going to have a record on the 2019 season.

Tyler I'm going to take it a task here not nearly as excited as you should be about football being back.

Man, it's great. We do this all year on you and I.

I need a little Chris Berman mode in my life, I guess.

Something like that. We do this all year. You and I. 24 7 literally 365 we talk Penn State football and then we get what a

sliver of the year to actually watch football and it's so crazy to think about how that adds up and finally it's back.

We got into practice two and a half hours yesterday,

unprecedented really. I mean, this hasn't happened around here since well before I was around if they did that.

You know if Joe did that back in 60s whatever but James Franklin opened up doors for

practice of course a bunch of Penn State employees were there for the

entire time so I think he kind of felt it was harmless to let us let the leeches in I

guess and and take a look at what's going on and it's an unpadded practice.
