And I am your host, David Oben, here with my co-host, Andy Staples, talking SEC football.

Andy, I was consulting with some sources this weekend, and they told me there was some good football over the weekend.

I don't know if you've heard the same through the grapevine, but just it feels

like there's some buzz about there were some really good football games on Saturday.

Sources. You got to check those sources. It was, well, you know, I didn't, we didn't run anything

about it yet. I was still, you know, consulting. But just that an unbelievable weekend of games across the sport, but especially

Saturday night on CBS. Andy, I remember when people were mocking CBS for taking Alabama and Texas

A&M in prime time. You mean us last week here? I would never do that. I would never do that, Andy.

I thought this was going to be a Texas A&M runaway.

I was surprised that Alabama was able to hang rally.

You know, you can't let Alabama hang around like that, Andy.

But no, Alabama, obviously.

We've mentioned on the show this year the Florida game were some some alarm bells

they looked otherworldly again against Ole Miss but this is just not the

Alabama team that your older brother is used to Andy this, this is a really good Alabama team.

I think they're the second best team in the country still.

But they're not going to just blow everyone's doors off.

And we saw that with an A&M team that just was really surprising.

You know, the biggest takeaway for me was, for one, you know, the Zach Calzada thing is pretty obvious.

A&M sort of getting up off the mat after letting Alabama roll, you know, rally, take the lead.

But for me, that first half, Mike Elko, the Blitz Packages, I have not seen an Alabama offensive line that confused.
