I mean, it's just another week.

Yep, my advice and a couple bucks will get you coffee on any corner in Seattle. So I'm going to stick with that theory and see what shakes out this week. I got to just say every time we come on for the show, and I think it might be you, Mike, I'm giving you some credit here. I just get a smile. I enjoy doing the show. We've known each other for 100 years, but I really

enjoy this part of my week. So I do get a little smile and I'm anxious to talk about some of the

topics we have. It'll be fun. Same here. I love just getting into the season because, you know,

I love the offseason stuff too. In some ways, the off season, it can be for a while just as fun

or even more fun, the draft, free agency, all the hope that flows from it. But then by the end of it,

like the narratives just get so out of hand through camp that we're just ready to have some actual

evidence, aren't we? Yeah, and less conjecture and less prognostication sometimes. And yeah, I mean, everybody has their hypothesis, you know, all of their theories, I should say, for everything. And you're right, now we just get to say what we see. It's kind of like scouting. I used to tell our scouts all the time, just write what you see. It's not rocket science. Just write what you see. We'll figure out how it all comes

together. If the body of work is big enough, guess what? We'll have a lot to go on. So

history speaks as to what the future holds. So here's some evidence we got Thursday night.

Philadelphia Eagles 34, Minnesota Vikings 28. It's funny. We're going to remember last year weren't the Vikings, I think 11 and 0 in the close games, 28. And everyone said, well, that's going to even out. And it has evened out here in the first two games. They've been on the wrong end twice. So welcome to the NFL, huh? Yeah, no kidding. I'll tell you what. There was a lot to take from the Thursday night game on both sides, really.
