The Chiefs broke pretty much every rule of football

in needing overtime to take care of the Tennessee Titans 20 to 17 on Sunday night

and what turned out to be an absolute thriller and a record-setting performance.

But how this happened was the

remarkable part. Sixty-eight pass attempts by Patrick Mahomes, a Chief's record just too shy of

the NFL record and 446 yards passing. 63 more rushing for Patrick Mahomes. He had a day of

over 500 yards where he threw for one, he ran for one, he got a two-point

conversion, was sacked four times and was hit eight times.

This was a wild, wild game by Patrick Mahomes.

In fact, it was so lopsided in the passing game.

There's never been a game like this in NFL history.

The Chiefs completed 38 more passes than the Tennessee Titans.

That is an NFL record.

There's never been disparity in a game like this.
