The Eagles one week away from the NFL draft.

We got some mailbag stuff for Andrew today, plus his article over at Inside thebirds.com.

I want to dive into that, as Howie Roseman did talk today about the Dantavian Wicks trade.

And Andrew, I want to get your thoughts on him and what he brings to this Eagles offense potentially.

This is a very interesting prospect that the team brought in.

Yeah, Dontavian Wicks, Mike, is a player that I like coming out of the University of Virginia in 2023.

I didn't view him as a high-end starting caliber type of player necessarily,

but a complimentary piece that did a lot

of things well when it comes to separating. He's a natural separator. He's not a burner in any sense.

He ran a 4-6-2 at the combine, which I think hurt his draft stock a little bit, but he attacks

the football. He's really aggressive when it comes to the blocking aspect of his job.

And this is a really good addition to the Eagles receiving corps. Now, whether or not he becomes the two or the three remains to be determined.

But the Eagles, based on what they traded for to get them and what they, you know, the one-year

extension suggests that they believe that he can handle a role in which is he's more

prominently featured and it's going to entail some more volume. Yeah, you know, he's the kind of guy,

I think in your article, you noted that kind of an arrow up guy and he's the guy that knows

Sean Mannion and this offense. he's the guy that knows Sean Mannion

and this offense.

Is he a guy that compliments A.J. Brown replaces A.J. Brown.

I don't think he was brought in to replace A.J. Brown. There are different types of
