You know, McLean did tweet later on that the context of the question was, Jeff,

that they did change play callers during the mini-by week in 2021.

Did you think that was a – is that a fair question to wonder if the Eagles need a change at the play caller position?

I mean, you could debate it on both sides.

I mean, I think that that question is going to be asked regardless because of

Eagles not looking good offensively, not playing a full four quarters

offensively through six weeks of the season.

And, you know, the context of the court of the play caller change he's made before.

It was a little later in the season. And they kind of had a guy in Matt Patricia that they brought

in almost, I don't want to say for that reason, but in case they felt they needed to make a change.

There's no, there's no senior offensive advisor here that you're going to hand play calling to. It's either going to be Kevin Petulow or Nick Siriani is going to do it himself, and I don't think Nick Siriani is going to do it himself. So I think that they're more just likely to figure it out. And if it doesn't work after the year, who knows, but that's the way it's going to be. Let me ask you, like, if they don't, if this doesn't work, and they've got to figure it out. And if it doesn't work after the year, who knows? But that's where it's going to be? Let me ask you. Like, if this doesn't work and they're going to figure it again, like, where's this trending that you just constantly keep changing the coordinator? Like, at some point, you would think that that has to stop. Like, and I get it, if you get a guy who's really good and he gets hired, there's nothing you can do about that.

But you want to try to find your Vic Fangio, your guy who's okay with being the coordinator and saying, you know what, I've been the head coach. I've been that guy. This is my new gig now and I'm here for the long. Like it feels like that's the direction maybe they should have looked at. No, I don't agree.
