This was going to be a really special episode of Football and Random Things.

We're going to have Jay Jordan on, do one last run through of some of our

thoughts before next week, obviously it will be game week for Iowa State and Northern Iowa. But instead, Jeff

Woody, you know, he's a prima donna, he thinks that he's the big man around here, tells me all of a sudden out of the blue, completely out of the blue, with no warning whatsoever that he can't do the

podcast in the morning. Well, Jay Jordan's coaching in the afternoon, so now no Jay

Jordan on the podcast. Thanks a lot, Jeff Woody. You know what, I, I, uh,

you're without warning whatsoever. I think that is an absolute bald-faced lie. I know that's an absolute bald-faced lie. Problem is proving it because the cycle infinit fanatic parties last week,

so we are last recording was Monday.

And since then, you and I have enjoyed public experiences on Wednesday and Friday of last week, Wednesday in Des Moines, and

then Friday out in Mississippi River, out in Leclare with some Cody Road products and it was about 1.15 in the morning when I said, hey,

Jared, by the way, I can't do Monday morning, but it's 115 in the morning after having been hosted by Mississippi River Distilling

Company for the past five hours.

So I think recollection at that point is probably low.

Well, you know, the best time to ever try and schedule anything professionally is at

115 in the morning after you've both been drinking Cody Road for an entire evening.

Hey, I had the Carmel, the Carmel liqueur. I didn't have the, I'm not a bourbon guy, but damn I wish and the Carmeliqueur, that's too much of that.

And I would say, I saw I golfed on Saturday, that was straight hangover golf.

That's what that was.
