Today we're going to be discussing how to discover and embrace your true calling with our guest Rick Jero.

I first listened to the ultimate anti-career guide last year and I've

listened to it again at least twice this summer. Then I moved on to the alchemy of

abundance and creating the work you love and finally I email Mr. Jero and basically of At age 19, he left Harvard University and traveled for seven years throughout Europe in India,

which he recounts in his first book in search of the sacred.

In India, he became initiated into the yogic disciplines in meditational arts.

At 26 he returned to the West to complete a doctoral program at Columbia University

where he received a PhD in Indian languages and literature.

Currently he teaches at Vassar and travels the world presenting workshops such as

creating the work you love and the alchemy of abundance among others.

His books include the ultimate anti-career guide,

creating the work you love, and the Advanced Manifestation Program. So welcome,

I have to start, so my oldest daughter just left for college.

My second daughter is getting ready for the SAT and that whole college applying process.

Now I can only imagine what it takes to get to Harvard.

So I would love for you to start us off by taking us back to your 19 year old self and the courage it took to walk away

from that huge achievement.

Well, you know, since I'm looking at it through a lens of decades

I don't see it as courage at all.
