Hey friends welcome back to the morning mindset. I'm so glad you're with me. We have the

opportunity right now to get our minds aligned with the truth of God's word. And today it

has to do with making personal sacrifices, with the cost of what is required to follow

our Savior Jesus Christ. Let me ask you what's the biggest personal sacrifice you've ever

made. For some of you, your mother's, you would say, man, it was childbirth. It was giving

life to those who the Lord has given me as my children. What is it for you? Maybe it's

sending a kid to college. You've had to make financial sacrifices or taking care of an

elderly parent. You've had to move them in with you. There are some big personal sacrifices

that people who are listening to my voice right now have made. Friends following God can

be costly. Personal sacrifices can be involved. I want to ask you to make another sacrifice

at Abraham's story today in Genesis 17, we're going to see a major sacrifice the Abraham

had to make. It says in verse 22, when he had finished talking with him. So in other

words, God finishes talking with Abraham. It says God went up from Abraham. So God left.

Then Abraham took Ishmael his son and all those born in his house are bought with his money.

Every male among the men of Abraham's house, and he circumcised the flesh of their four
